报告题目:Newton’s Methods and Its Approximation for finding a nonnegative solution to the M-Tensor Equation

报告摘要:

We summarize some recently developed Newton-type methods for solving M-tensor equations. Two of them possess global and quadratic convergence when the constant term of the equation is positive. Another is an approximation Newton that possesses monotone convergence property can be applied to find a nonnegative solution to an M-tensor equation where the constant term can be arbitrary. At last, we show numerical performance of those methods.

李董辉,华南师范大学数学科学学院教授,博士生导师,先后访问京都大学,新南威尔士大学,香港理工大学,香港城市大学,台湾成功大学。连续主持国家自然科学基金6项,主持教育部重大项目1项,曾任中国运筹学会常务理事,数学规划分会常务理事,湖南省计算数学暨应用软件学会副理事长,广东省运筹学会副理事长。
